What Is The Difference Between Airbrushing & HVLP?

The airbrushing process is very time consuming and is becoming a thing of the past. Airbrush machines have a compressor while HVLP machines have a small turbine engine. HVLP stands for High Volume Low Pressure and has more airflow and allows for more direct coverage of the body. BOLD uses only the highest of HVLP spray tan technology. An airbrush tan can take up to 30 minutes to cover a whole body while an HVLP spray tan with BOLD’s trained and efficient experts takes 10 minutes or less.
